課程簡述 本系列課程會簡介教育數據的常見格式，及如何在圖形化介面(GUI)中下指令操作這些數據。
如課程教材所述，很多教育數據以逗號分隔(csv)及Excel活頁簿(xlsx)的格式發佈。因此資料庫系統設計(一)會依課本 [1]中的Chapter 5 Keep Excel in Your Toolset和Chapter 3 Database and Date Warehouses開始，簡介如何用最簡單的Microsoft Excel操作這些教育數據及如何以Excel工作表為例解釋資料庫的概念。
In the series of Database System (I), (II), and (III), we will introduce educational data sets, its common formats and methods to handle these data via graphical user interfaces (GUI) and programs.
As described in following teaching aids field, many educational data sets are shared in comma-separated values (csv) and Microsoft Excel xlsx files. In Database System (I), we will follow Chapter 5 Keep Excel in Your Toolset and Chapter 3 Database and Date Warehouses in our textbook [1] to introduce how to access these files according to the one of the simplest GUI: Microsoft Excel, and use Excel worksheet as an example to explain the abstract concept of database.
