課程簡述	Information management refers to a collection of principles, practices, tools and tasks for an organization (resp. a person) to manage (1) the use of information for work (resp. living), (2) the process of creating information for work (resp. living). In other words, information management is a process to support (i) information collection, (ii) information storage, (iii) information processing and (iv) information dissemination. This course will cover a broad overview on the definitions, principles and practices in information management. Handouts with contents on the key ideas and concepts will be distributed to the students to further investigating on the related issues. Class exercises (questions to be surveyed and discussed) will be given to the students. So that, students are able to learn by doing. It is expected that students have already learnt fundamental knowledge in information and communication technologies (ICT).
