課程簡述	The primary goals of this course are to highlight a number of recent public health and regulatory issues related to global concerns of the threats to human health deriving from chronic exposure to toxic substances, such as airborne particles, heavy metals and halogenated organic compounds, to focus on the recent pandemics of Covid-19, Zika, Ebola, as well as to introduce the importance of safety practice in food processing issues including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s ban on trans fats in all American processed foods by 2018. Additionally, we updated the current regulations of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) that the Stockholm Convention has added to its action list. This course is organized into 14 lectures under three parts (sections) as listed below.
