課程簡述	Realism is said to be the dominant paradigm in the field of international politics. However, what exactly is Realism? What are the different strands of realist theories? This course will introduce students to the realist paradigm of international relations. Topics include, but not limited in, Classical Realism, Structural Realism, Offensive Realism, Defensive Realism, Neoclassical Realism, the role of intentions, balancing, bandwagoning and buckpassing. In addition to theories, this course will also examine practical issues such as creating international orders and responding to American predominance, as well as the roles of sovereignty and morality in international politics.
