課程簡述	This course presents theories and applied methods used in natural resource and environmental economics. The major topics include: (1) externality, public good, and welfare economics; (2) natural resource and environmental policy instruments; (3) valuation of nonmarket goods; (4) costs and benefits of natural resource and environmental regulations. Special emphasis is given to applying economic models and tools to evaluate natural resource and environmental policies.

學習評量方式
Final term paper (100%) The purpose of writing a term paper is to evaluate natural resource and environmental issues using econometric/statistical techniques. The contents of a term paper should include five major parts: (1) introduction/literature review; (2) data collection; (3) econometric / statistical model; (4) results analysis; (5) conclusions. Each group can be 2-3 students. You are expected to present your term paper in June and turn in a copy of your presentation (PPT) and final term paper (MS Word) at the end of the semester.
