課程簡述 This course covers diverse topics in basic physics including rotational motion, material phases, waves, heat, electrostatics, special relativity, quantum theory etc.
The details will not be discussed but I will focus on the essence of each field.
Discussions about physics and astrophysics can be also included.
This course will make use of classroom S201 in the college of science building.

The general physics part is scheduled as follows.
Note that the contents can change depending on students' understanding.

08. (06 Apr): Day-off (Children’s day)
09. (13 Apr): Review of the previous classes/Q&A
10. (20 Apr): Heat and thermal energy 1 (deadline for the midterm assignment)
11. (27 Apr): Heat and thermal energy 2
12. (04 May): Electrostatics 1
13. (11 May): Electrostatics 2
14. (18 May): Introductory special relativity 1
15. (25 May): Introductory special relativity 2
16. (01 Jun): Introductory quantum theory (Final assignment is distributed)
