(中) 雖然物質具相同之化學組成,但如果其來源不同或經不同物理/化學過程所產生,其同位素比值會因同位素的分化作用而有差異。穩定同位素技術之應用主要在了解此同位素分化作用所造成的同位素比值差異後,進而幫助我們解釋環境變遷的訊息及意涵。本課程將介紹此同位素技術在水文環境、生態環境以及農產品來源鑑別等相關領域之應用。
(Eng.) Although matters may have same chemical compositions, they will exhibit various isotopic ratios if they produced from different sources or experienced various chemical/physical processes. The stable isotopic technique is established by studying the discrepancy in isotope ratio caused by isotope fractionation. After understanding the reasons that cause isotopic discrepancy, we can further interpret the information and the meaning of environmental change. This course introduces applications of the isotopic technique on related research regimes, such as tracing water source of a hydrological environment, identifying trophic sources of an ecological system, recognizing potential sources of nitrate contamination, and assessing the provenance of agricultural products. |
