課程簡述	This course deals with western fiction as an essential key to understand fiction as a genre in western literary world. There are weekly topics/themes that will be lectured by teacher and discussed by students later in class. To follow up the lectures and gain an in-depth understanding of each topic/theme, students will be required to read a related novel before each discussion.

Our aim is to possess a comprehensive knowledge of the great body of fiction written in the western world, thus, to enrich our understanding of its culture and history of idea.
