Course Description 本課程概括介紹生物資訊學之基礎知識,並配合上機實際操作。教室內有示範用電腦一部,並提供無線網路,歡迎同學們自備筆記型電腦同步操作。課程內容分為五大部分:
1. 生物資訊學網路資源簡介(文獻與生物巨分子資料庫、網路分析軟體)
2. 核苷酸序列分析簡介與操作(網路資源)
3. 胺基酸序列分析簡介與操作(網路資源)
4. UNIX及Windows PowerShell操作系統簡介與基礎指令稿語言(scripting language)操作,常用電腦語言基礎(R,Python)
5. 蛋白質結構分析簡介與操作
每一部份約二至四週的課程,使同學能充分了解所學內容,達到”所學即所用”的目標。

本課程之教學目的為提供初學者有關生物資訊學之基本概念,講授核酸及胺基酸資料庫之資訊儲存、擷取、分析及管理等基礎知識,以利學生日後從事相關研究工作,並培訓本土生物資訊技術人才。
