Course Description 本課程由學生輪流選擇生物資訊學相關之期刊論文,講授核酸及胺基酸資料庫之進階資訊儲存、擷取、分析及管理等進階知識,以利學生日後從事相關研究工作。

本課程之教學目的為提供已修習生物資訊學相關基礎課程之學生有關生物資訊學之進階概念,以利學生日後從事生物資訊學進階研究工作,並培訓本土生物資訊技術人才。

Week 1 1. Advanced Sequence Analyses with Distributed Resources: Popular Databases, Single and Multiple Sequence Analyses.
2. Advances in Computer Operating Systems, C-Shell Scripting
3. (Mid-term reports due!!!)
4. Advances in roject Management & Mapping
5. Advances in Gene Finding and Pattern Recognition
6. Advances in Protein Structure and Function – Primary, secondary, and tertiary structure analyses.
7. Presentation of Current Research Articles from Related Scientific Journals, such as Bioinformatics, BMC Bioinformatics, Nucleic Acids Research, and Nature Biotechnology.
