This course covers the fundamental and applied aspects of irrigation and drainage engineering. Topics include:
1. Basic relationships among soil, water, and plants
2. Irrigation water quality, sources, and quantities
3. Irrigation planning, scheduling, and efficiency
4. Design of irrigation systems and structures
5. Design of drainage systems and structures

本課程針對在於農業與土木工程相關科系之大學學生設計，旨在於讓其瞭解土壤、水分與植物及其互動與灌溉排水系統之設計、規劃與管理，並培養對於農業使用地表與地下灌溉系統之設計能力。
This course is designed for undergraduate students in agricultural and civil engineering–related disciplines. Its primary aim is to develop students’ understanding of the interactions among soil, water, and plants, as well as the planning, design, and management of irrigation and drainage systems. Through the course, students will gain the ability to design surface and subsurface irrigation systems for agricultural applications, combining theoretical knowledge with practical engineering principles.
