Course Description 本課程的主要目的在於讓同學藉由Simul8模擬軟體的學習來解決管理、行銷及生產製造等方面的課題，該軟體相較於其它同性質的軟體而言，較容易由管理學院的同學所接受與使用，其在應用上可用來模擬與分析複雜的系統，它透過對真實世界或假設情形以電腦模型呈現的方法，來對想要研究的流程、策略、物件等進行分析，來評判將變數或程序改變後系統的表現。本課程主要範疇包括:
1.瞭解電腦模擬方法在社會研究上的應用
2.透過系統性的介紹學習模擬軟體
3.運用模擬軟體分析實作個案
本學期課程將以餐廳服務及商店進存貨管理為兩大主軸設計整學期的實作案例，讓同學能逐步完成由簡單到複雜的模擬專題。

平時作業約三至四份，佔50%；
案例簡報，佔10%；
期末簡報與報告，佔30%；及
出席、課堂參與，佔10%。
本課程以實作應用為主，無期中及期末考試。
