課程簡述 This course provides a comprehensive overview of the circular utilization of agricultural waste, focusing on its transformation into value-added products through sustainable and innovative strategies. Topics include biomass classification, microbial fermentation, extraction of bioactive compounds, biorefinery processes, eco-friendly technologies, and applications in agriculture, energy, and health. Through case studies, laboratory demonstrations, and project-based learning, students will acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and practical skills related to waste valorization in the context of the circular bioeconomy.

This course guides students to develop an understanding of the circular reuse of agricultural waste and how agricultural by-products can be transformed from low-value waste into functional or high value-added products by engaging in self-directed learning activities, including the independent exploration and critical review of multimedia resources.

Midterm assessment (exam or written assignments): 30%
Case study presentation: 40%
Final written report: 30%
