| 課程簡述 | This course is designed to provide an understanding of financial markets and financial institutions that operate within the financial markets. The first half of the course deals with the capital markets where flow of funds occur through financial markets instruments, such as bonds, stocks, money markets, foreign exchanges, and derivatives (futures, forward, options, etc.). The second half of the course deals with the fund flows through financial institutions, such as commercial banks, thrifts, insurance company, investment banks, finance company, and mutual funds. The course also discusses the past and current regulations within the financial markets and institutions, and the risk assessments within the financial institutions. | ||||||||
