課程簡述 幫助初學者在應用昆蟲學以及純理昆蟲學方面基礎奠定，使初學者在學習與研究之過程中清楚的瞭解昆蟲類在大自然中生活之現象以及昆蟲類與人生經濟與農業之關係，進而努力去瞭解大自然中各種定律與法則以探求大自然中諸般之奧秘，從中獲得更多深廣之領悟與啟示，並啟發共同謀求人類之和平與幸福之樂趣。

第1週 何謂昆蟲及認識昆蟲(實習課瞭解昆蟲體軀的一般構造；掌握昆蟲綱的特徵及其與唇足綱、蛛形綱、甲殼綱和多足綱等其他節肢動物的區別)
第2週 昆蟲的變態(實習課瞭解昆蟲頭殼的構造；掌握昆蟲頭式的類型。觀察蝗蟲外型)
第3週 昆蟲的分類(實習課瞭解不同型式之昆蟲觸角及功能。觀察觸角玻片)
第4週 昆蟲的分類(實習課瞭解昆蟲的眼睛包括單眼與複眼。複眼是昆蟲的主要視覺器官，由許多六角形的小眼組成的。觀察複眼切片玻片)
第5週 隨堂測驗
第6週 昆蟲採集昆蟲標本製作(實習課瞭解昆蟲口器的基本構造及變異。觀察玻片)
第7週 昆蟲的外部構造(實習課瞭解昆蟲胸足的基本構造及其類型。觀察玻片)
第8週 民族掃墓節
第9週 昆蟲與人類之關係(實習課瞭解瞭解昆蟲翅的基本構造，脈序及翅的變化類型。觀察玻片)
第10週 害蟲綜合管理及性費洛蒙的研究(實習課製作昆蟲標本)
第11週 參觀昆蟲標本館 (隨堂測驗)
