課程簡述	This course introduces the history of England from early modern era to modern, encompassing the reign of the House of Tudor, the House of Stuart, and the House of Hanover. It is well remembered by people that England is the forerunner of the Industrial Revolution, that the Crown once held sway nearly one fourth of the population and the land of the whole world, and that England has set a paradigm of parliamentary system. However, these events or facts cannot comprise the whole picture of the history. In order to understand the history of England more properly and thoroughly, this course will provide basic analyses on its developments of religion, politics, economics, society, art, and culture.
