Course Description (中) 對於國內(外)跨河橋梁各種沖刷災害成因予以系統化介紹,將以個案之橋梁受災歷史與歷次洪水沖刷之前後因果關係,進行解說。其中沖刷成因將概分為一般沖刷、局部沖刷、束縮沖刷等三大類,而後再針對各大類予以細分不同的沖刷機制及其間之交互作用的影響,繼而針對受災個案提出不同的防治對策及其成效分析說明。針對國內十餘年來西部各大流域中下游之橋梁沖刷災害及其防治保護對策進行深入研討,期能使研習者深切瞭解本土化橋梁沖刷災害成因及其防治之道。

(Eng.) A systematic introduction of various domestic (or foreign) scour- disaster causes and effects is demonstrated using many practical case studies of bridge failures as examples. Total scour around a bridge foundation will be classified into three patterns, i.e., general scour, local scour, and constriction scour. The evaluation method for each scour pattern will be introduced also via practical case study. The related countermeasures for different scour causes will be illustrated in detail by using practical cases including structural retrofit technologies and hydraulic bed-protection methods. The merits and shortcomings of each countermeasure will be also described in detail.
