課程簡述 The course introduces newly developed technologies including but not limited serological based methods and nucleic acid amplification methods. The principles, experimental design, and clinical applications will be introduced.

Research of public health and epidemiology requires a large number of laboratory techniques and diagnostic methods. Therefore, the purpose of this course is to equip students the principles and applications of common and novel laboratory diagnostic techniques. This lecture will help students to understand the diagnosis of infectious diseases and disease control.
