課程簡述	介紹材料中缺陷的本質以及缺陷對材料可能之影響。本課程將以點缺陷之探討為主，包括其成因、控制、與影響應用等。進而以其他缺陷的探討為輔，並藉由自主學習配合相關精簡報告，期使學生對材料缺陷有進一步之認識與理解，並深化課程學習。 To introduce mainly the characteristics of defects in materials and influences of defects on materials. This class will start from discussions of point defects including formation mechanism, process control, influences and applications. Other defects will also be discussed. Self-directed learning in combination with a brief report on the relevant topic is also emphasized to broaden students' horizons and deepen the learning of the course work.
