| 課程簡述 | This course is a freshman preparatory course designed to support students’ future study of Introduction to Linguistics. Students will explore core linguistic structures, including phonetics, syntax, and semantics, while gaining exposure to modern interdisciplinary fields such as neurolinguistics, clinical linguistics, and computational linguistics. By emphasizing project-based analysis, the course equips students with the critical thinking skills and conceptual framework necessary for advanced linguistic study. | ||||||||

| By the end of the course, students will be able to: 1. Understand the fundamental concepts and terminology of core linguistic domains, including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. 2. Apply basic analytical skills to examine linguistic phenomena and identify structural patterns in language. 3. Describe how language functions in cognitive, social, historical, and applied contexts. 4. Develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through project-based exploration of linguistic topics. 5. Build a solid foundation for successful study in sophomore-level Introduction to Linguistics and related courses. |
