本課程延續個體經濟理論(一)的基礎，進一步探討消費者與生產者行為的理論與應用。課程內容涵蓋偏好與效用、間接效用與支出函數、需求函數性質、不確定性分析，以及廠商的生產成本、利潤最大化與成本最小化等主題。同時介紹局部均衡、福利分析與一般均衡理論，並透過應用個案與學術文章賞析，訓練學生運用理論解釋與分析實際經濟問題的能力。
This course builds on the foundations of Microeconomic Theory (I), offering a exploration of consumer and producer behavior, both in theory and application. Key topics include prefer-ence and utility, indirect utility and expenditure functions, properties of demand func-tions, uncertainty, production and cost, and profit maximization and cost minimization. We may also cover partial equilibrium, welfare analysis, and general equilibrium theo-ry.Through applied case studies and journal article reviews, students will develop the ability to apply theoretical concepts to real-world economic issues.
