Course Description 教育哲學旨在運用哲學的方法與內容，反思教育的根本問題：「教什麼」、「怎麼教」、「誰來教」以及「為何教」。其目的與重要性在於以哲學思辨的思維與視角，理解、分析、反思與批判教育實務現場的現象與所遇的困境，以期發展更合適、多元的教學實踐，並提升教育應有的品質。是以，本課程的目標旨在從教育哲學面向說明與探討形上學、知識論與價值論等內涵，以及按年代時間序隨之所開展而來的各思想、理論派別的異同，進而結合當前教育的基本課題或議題，運用嚴謹的哲學思辨方法進行探析，以釐清和建構整體社會、社群的教育哲學觀，從而協助個人反思自我的教育哲學思想建構，並理解教育的意涵與活動。
