課程簡述	This course is designed to give a generative introduction of syntax. In this semester, students will acquire the following knowledge, including generative grammar, parts of speech, constituency, trees, rules, x-bar theory, theta theory, functional categories, DP movement and wh-movement. By the end of this semester, students will learn about major theories and reasoning of syntax, such that they can go on to pursue further syntactic research.
