Course Description This course will provide students with a broad introduction to the methodological foundations, research language, ethics, and approaches. The course introduces how to identify research questions, develop hypotheses, check for the validity and reliability of studies, design research projects, and ethical principles and challenges. Students will also be exposed to the elements of the research process within quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches. They will use these theoretical underpinnings to begin to critically review literature relevant to their field or interests.
