| 課程簡述 | “Seminar on Shakespeare” is a graduate-level course that is also open to undergraduate students with an interest in the field. It is a one-semester course focusing on selected plays by the Bard and their modern adaptations. The course introduces students to works from different genres as well as to relevant critical theories. In addition to the primary texts, teaching materials include videos and DVDs of selected modern film, television, and theatrical adaptations. The course encourages students to approach Shakespeare through an appreciation of his wit, language, creative imagination, and the ways his works continue to be reinterpreted in modern contexts. | ||||||||
