| 課程簡述 | *Chinese teaching videos covering major class materials and teaching contents will be provided on the iLearning platform to assist and enhance the learning effect of English teaching. (***NOTE: This course will be conducted/taught in Mandarin.) This course provides doctoral students with interdisciplinary background and theoretical depth in the emerging discipline of technology management, focusing on the business applications and challenges of technological innovation and innovative technologies in the digital economy. The course is fundamentally interdisciplinary and inevitably draws on emerging knowledge and experience in economics, information technology, technology management and business administration. From the perspective of emerging technologies and business management, lecture contents of this course may cover important topics such as financial technology, business services, online investing, and artificial intelligence. In addition, we will discuss with the whole class and select important and influential emerging technology topics covered by this course. Through careful and focused study of emerging technology management and practice, students will further strengthen their knowledge and skills for subsequent practical applications and academic research. |

| This course is designed to help PhD students learn emerging technology topics by covering selected (1) emerging technology topics (such as artificial intelligence, AI), (2) business application areas (such as stock investment), and (3) stock investment experiments (such as the online simulation game for stock trading). After students study, experiment, comprehend and complete planned course materials in a fun and easy way, they will become skillful and knowledgeable about emerging technology topics (such as AI) and develop their best practices to harvest the benefits of emerging technology applications. |

| Textbooks 1. Due to the rapid development and changes in emerging technologies and international markets, there is no textbook for this Special Topics in Technology Management course. Instead, the class will construct its own textbook through a combination of assigned readings, lecture topics, web resources, academic articles and topic discussions. 2. Additional materials will be announced in class and iLearning platform. References Based on the topics chosen in the course, we will fill in and update corresponding reference bibliographies to construct the textbook with teaching materials.
