課程簡述 This course introduces the concepts, definitions, and examples in the agricultural tourism sector and its business model. Emphases are on exploring the practical implications by visiting several agritourism farms in Central Taiwan, and assessing the sustainability of agritourism through integrative visiting and discussion. In additional to gaining the fundamental knowledge of agritourism sectors, students are expected to learn the principles and skills of “tour design and planning of agritourism”, and “interpretation with agritourism activities.”

Students gain opportunities to understand agricultural tourism from the industrial perspective through fieldtrips; learn how to design and plan a rural tour; learn how to proposal an interpretative program, and delivery an effective interpretation; and learn the agribusiness model in the context of agritourism industry.
