| 課程簡述 | (中) 本課程主要透過文獻探討介紹非編碼核醣核酸相關研究之最新進展，及其參與在調控基因表現中的角色。由於此領域正蓬勃發展且進展快速，本課程參與學生需依各課程主題所挑選之最新期刊研究論文，共同進行研究方法與結果之討論，以增進學生對此領域的新知，並能實際運用至其個人的研究主題中。 (Eng.) Non-coding RNAs are not only involved in post-transcriptional gene silencing, but also modulate diverse regulatory roles in the field of gene expression. This course is designed for the graduated students to understand the general concept of non-coding RNA as well as their involvement in various physiological regulations. Students will be assigned the most updated original research papers. They will present those literatures and discuss the results as well as the experimental design of presenting papers. The lectures will discuss about basic concepts in non-coding RNA regulated gene silencing, including the post-transcriptional regulation by siRNA, microRNA, reproductive organ specific piRNAs, and the related regulatory mechanisms. Through paper discussion, students will learn about the modern knowledge of non-coding RNA and can apply into their own research. |
