除了讓學生藉由操作經典實驗來加強對物理概念的理解與操作能力,更重要的是讓他們體驗在物理發展過程中,物理學家如何面對新的問題,如何克服解決。

Week 1 ***未能參加輻射安全防護講習並同過測驗者無法選修本課程***

實驗室安全規定、實習課程內容介紹

本學期共有10個實驗, 各組輪流
1. Zeeman Effect--外加磁場下原子能階之分裂
2. 電子繞射實驗
3. Rutherford 散射實驗
4. Hall Effect---導體中載子之傳導行為
5. 電子自旋共振
6. 密立根油滴實驗
7. 法蘭克‧赫茲實驗
8. X-ray 的波粒特性
9. 掃瞄穿隧式顯微鏡(STM)實驗
10.核磁共振(NMR)
Week 2 輻射安全防護講習
(根據頒布的法規,基於教學需要凡使用放射源與操作X-ray機器者,必須接受3個小時以上的「輻射安全防護講習」,並且通過測驗。由於近代物理實驗多項實驗與使用放射源及操作X-ray機器有關,所以在開始上課的第二週將會安排「輻射安全防護講習」與測驗,凡未能全程參與並通過測驗者將強迫退選。)
