| 課程簡述 | This course aims at introducing students to works from different countries and cultures through guided reading of selected literary texts and films from North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia, etc. with texts in English and their translations in Chinese by approaches such as magic realism. The students will develop analytical skills and understanding of different cultures while broadening their global perspectives by way of reading and discussing the representative texts. 以多部文學作品的選文及相關電影為教材，文本中英文相輔，含中英翻譯，內容涵蓋美洲、拉丁美洲、歐洲等地區，並將探討「魔幻寫實」的文學、文化表達手法。上課方式除了講授之外，學生依世界文學不同的文化屬性分組報告與團體討論，一方面培養同學對文字及影像的欣賞、解析能力，另一方面透過代表性的世界文學作品，接觸多元的世界，增進國際視野。 |
