課程簡述 Under the Paris Agreement, an increasing number of countries are committed to reach national carbon neutrality by 2050. Carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS) and utilization (CCU) [CCUS], is increasingly gaining worldwide attention as a mean to support climate change objectives, as well as circular economy, and resource and energy security.
This elective lecture provides a comprehensive understanding of the concepts related to CCUS systems, including the entire spectrum from technical solutions developed so far, to the economic, environmental and societal aspects.

Students will also complete a project, in which they prepare an article-style report and deliver a short presentation summarizing their key findings, fostering practical skills in analysis, synthesis, and communication of CCUS-related knowledge.
