At the end of this course, you should be able to:
1. Understand the architecture of one of the most popular microcontroller(MCU) families
2. Use an integrated development environment (IDE) to program and debug an MCU
3. Program an MCU using C language
4. Understand and use peripherals integrated into an MCU
5. Interface an MCU to simple external components
6. Understand and use interrupts
7. Use timers in various modes
8. Communicate using a serial interface
9. Understand and use analog to digital converters (ADC), digital to analog converters (DAC) and comparators
