課程簡述 This course introduces the fundamental concepts of quantum information and their applications to security protocols. Topics include basic principles of quantum mechanics relevant to information processing, quantum states and measurements, quantum key distribution, and other representative cryptographic protocols. Through theoretical discussions and selected examples, students will gain an understanding of how quantum information principles enable security guarantees beyond those achievable by modern cryptography.

This course primarily introduces the fundamental concepts of quantum cryptography, with particular emphasis on the security of quantum communication. It highlights the importance of protecting information transmitted through quantum channels against various types of attacks. In addition, the course guides students in learning and designing potential quantum communication protocols and applications.
