Unit Objectives:
Definite Integrals: Understand and compute Riemann sums and definite integrals; apply the Fundamental Theorems of Calculus.
Applications of Integration: Calculate the area of plane regions using integrals.
Exponential and Logarithmic Functions: Analyze natural and general exponential/logarithmic functions and their applications.
Integration Techniques: Develop skills in substitution, integration by parts, trigonometric integrals, rationalizing substitutions, and handling improper integrals.
Multivariable Functions: Learn the basics of partial derivatives and self-learn optimization concepts, including finding maxima and minima for functions of multiple variables. |
