課程簡述	The course provides a brief introduction to the principles of business operations, addressing both the external environment of a company (such as economic factors, competition, social issues, technology, regulations, etc.) and the internal management functions like production operations, distribution and marketing, human resources, research and development, and accounting and finance. It offers a conceptual and comprehensive overview of these areas, supplemented with recent trends in business management (such as globalization vs. anti-globalization, cultural differences, CSR, ESG, etc.). The 16+2 week course includes self-directed learning, with the final two weeks dedicated to students independently reviewing multimedia materials related to industry and academic topics.
