課程簡述	This course aims to help students understand the approaches to literature; cultivate their skills in literary appreciation, interpretation, and analysis; and enhance their overall English reading skills. The course centers on the three major genres of literature: fiction, poetry, and drama. The first semester will focus on works of fiction. Literary elements and techniques, such as plot, setting, character, theme, narration and point of view, symbol and figurative language, etc., will be introduced, so that students can learn the ways and skills of reading works of literature.
