| 課程簡述 (course description) |
本課程分為兩部分：(1) 介紹使用 Tableau 軟體視覺化呈現圖表的技能，並引導學生使用網路上的 open data 完成一份視覺化分析簡報；(2) 介紹使用統計軟體 SAS 進行一般研究所需的基本統計分析。教師將逐步引導學生在期中以真實資料完成一份簡單的專題報告，並在期末完成一套虛擬研究數據的分析表格。 本課程歡迎不同背景的同學選修！（若有疑義歡迎洽詢授課老師呂老師，chinlilu@nchu.edu.tw) This course comprises two parts. The first part introduces the skills for using Tableau software to create visualized tables and graphs. Students would be led to retrieve open data on the web to make a brief presentation. The second part introduces the skills of using a professional statistical software, SAS, to perform basic statistical analyses. The instructor will guide the students step-by-step to complete a simple project in the midterm report and create a series of statistical tables using sample data at the end of the semester.
