(course description)
In today’s world, the challenges faced by humanity are becoming increasingly complex. Narrow professional training and one-dimensional ways of thinking are no longer sufficient to cultivate students’ ability to reflect on and address such multifaceted issues. Therefore, the course Life and Medical Technology aims to provide students with a broad and well-balanced learning experience. The course seeks to guide and inspire students to develop foundational understanding and interest in other disciplines, thereby fostering appropriate scientific literacy, a global perspective, wisdom concerning life, analytical and critical thinking skills, effective communication abilities, and the motivation for lifelong learning and personal growth. 現今人類面臨之問題日趨複雜,狹隘的專業訓練及單向的思維,難以培育學生反省並處理如此複雜的問題,因此本課程「生活與醫療科技」的宗旨,是希望修課同學獲得較為廣博而均衡的學習內容,並引導、啟發學生對於其他學科的入門與興趣,以培養學生適當的科學知識、宏觀視野、生命智慧、分析思辨能力、表達溝通技巧、以及終身學習成長的動力。 本課程包括理論和實驗。
