| 課程簡述 (course description) |
This course provides a broad overview of the scientific study of language. Through the examination of the key areas of linguistics, students will learn how linguists analyze the sound system of languages, the rules of word formation, sentence structure, meaning relations, and aspects of language in use. This course provides essential preparation for further study in linguistics, and no prior background in linguistics is assumed. | ||||
