課程簡述 (course description) |
This course aims to help new PhD students familiarize themselves with English academic writing and research. It gives them practical engagement with different genres of academic writing, including abstracts, article/book reviews, research proposals, and close reading exercises. It is divided into four main modules: i) orienting yourself to academic writing and research; ii) engaging with graduate level texts; iii) developing a research proposal; iv) workshopping research proposals. | ||||
